Looking for an attractive and reliable RA-Aus. RPL training aircraft or just want to have the comfort, luggage capacity and extended range for private touring? This large fully composite Cessna 172 size aircraft – the Legend 600 LSA, with its very low hours meets these needs at a great price. Current new price in the same configuration is around AU$248,000. Developed as an 80% scaled version of the Cessna 182 look-alike with matching yoke controls, these aircraft look like and fly like the famed Cessnas. But with a 287Kg payload including 30kg luggage capacity, a larger cabin actually 50mm wider than a C182 and as a 100hp Rotax powered LSA has much lower ownership, fuel burn and maintenance costs. This Legend has always been hangered, now has only 363 hrs total time in private long distance touring and as a result looks like new, but sadly my declining health has put a stop to further flying adventures. This Legend model is available for inspection and test flights with an Instructor at Heck Field near the Gold Coast and by arrangement near Sydney at Cessnock NSW, where two Legends are used for Training. RA-Aus Registered LSA – 24 8714 Construction; Carbon Fibre composite BEW is 313Kg, payload 287Kg = MTOW 600 Yoke control with Kanardia electronic 6 pack instruments and comms. The attractive light grey cabin upholstery and seating suits tall pilots. Rugged auto style dual seat adjustment is built to stand up to the constant adjustment required in training use. The large upholstered luggage area has an inbuilt elastic net to safely restrain typical travel and camping needs.
